Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated Heavy Equipment Mechanic with expertise in scissor lifts, skid steers, and boom lifts, as well as a dependable driver to transport our equipment safely. This dual role is vital to our operations, ensuring that our machinery is in optimal condition and delivered on time to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
For the Mechanic Role:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on scissor lifts, skid steers, and boom lifts.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain high-quality service standards.
For the Driver Role:
- Safely transport equipment to and from job sites.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Load and unload heavy equipment using proper techniques.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic (3+ years preferred).
- Knowledge of scissor lifts, skid steers, and boom lifts, telehadlers, excavators, etc.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
