Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 7:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Pay Rate: $17.75 per hour

Position Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team at a medical clinic in Whitby. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities
Sleep Clinic Cleaning (Beginning of Shift)
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms and treatment areas
- Make and prepare beds according to clinic standards
- Sweep and mop floors
- Dust surfaces, furniture, and equipment
- Empty garbage and replace liners
Facility Cleaning & Maintenance
- Clean, sanitize, and restock washrooms throughout the facility
- Monitor washroom cleanliness and perform upkeep as needed during the shift
- Clean hallways, entrances, vestibules, common areas, and waiting rooms
- Maintain cleanliness of elevators and elevator lobbies
- Collect and dispose of waste and recycling
- Spot clean glass, doors, and high-touch surfaces
- Respond promptly to spills and assist with clean-up as required
- Report maintenance issues or supply shortages to management
- Follow all health, safety, and infection-control procedures
Qualifications
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is an asset but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Able to perform physical tasks including walking, standing, bending, lifting, and mopping throughout the shift
- Experience in medical or healthcare cleaning environments is considered an asset
