Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to perform general labour duties while ensuring a safe working environment for all trade personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Set-up, maintenance, and clean-up of tools and equipment
- Maintain a clean and orderly jobsite
- Ensure personal tools are in safe working condition and ready for use
- Read, understand, and comply with all Epic Roofing & Exteriors Commercialgeneral and safety policies, procedures, and practices.
- Assist foreman with all required duties
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Flat Roofing
- Licensing: Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract. Journeyman certification considered an asset.
- Safety Certifications: Fall Protection and Aerial Work Platform (AWP) certifications are considered strong assets.
- Attributes: Punctual, dependable, diligent work ethic, able to follow instructions, positive attitude, able to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
This is a physically demanding field role conducted in various weather conditions. Applicants must be:
- Comfortable working at heights and climbing scaffolding/ladders.
- Able to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
- Able to perform physical tasks (bending, reaching, walking on uneven terrain) for extended periods.
- Willing to work overtime during peak season to meet project deadlines.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour
