Machine learning (ML) is at the forefront of the rising popularity of data-driven software applications. At Loblaw’s Supply Chain Analytics, we have a diverse set of AML initiatives that you could be a part of and make an impact on. You can work in the area of AML for classification, regression, anomaly detection, and forecasting; explore techniques to reduce model bias while tuning; extend support by creating data transformation and knowledge bank.
You should be familiar with and flexible to work in both project and support environments and open to taking the lead on certain projects. Communication skills are key, as you will collaborate with various teams including IT and Senior Leadership.
What You Will Do:
Work closely with IT and the wider Replenishment Optimization team to identify use-cases for AI/ML applications in critical areas of the Supply Chain
Discover new opportunities to apply analytics and data science concepts
Prototype any of the use-cases identified with the end goal of optimizing and improving supply chain efficiency
Support data awareness in the team
What you will need:
Post-secondary education in computer science, math, or engineering
Demonstrated relevant experience from previous internships and/or academic or personal projects.
Experience in Python and SQL.
Experience in Data Visualization and BI tools
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and with others
Inquisitive and detailed oriented (comfortable asking questions)
