Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker/Installer to join our construction and woodworking team. This role involves creating, assembling, and installing custom cabinetry and related woodwork for residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, woodworking, and construction, with the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints accurately. Experience with various power tools, hand tools, and installation techniques is essential to ensure high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately produce cabinetry and woodwork components.
- Cut, shape, assemble, and finish cabinets using hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and woodworking equipment.
- Install cabinets securely on-site, ensuring proper alignment, leveling, and finishing details.
- Perform related tasks such as restoration work, construction painting, caulking, rebar installation, siding, roofing preparation, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing rough-ins, electrical wiring (as needed), and concrete forming when applicable.
- Handle heavy lifting of materials and finished products safely throughout the project site.
- Measure spaces precisely to ensure custom fitment of cabinetry within designated areas.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials efficiently.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within specifications.
Skills
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction estimating documents.
- Extensive experience with carpentry, woodworking, cabinetry assembly, and installation techniques.
- Skilled in using hand tools (saws, chisels, hammers), power tools (drills, sanders), CNC machinery, and other woodworking equipment.
- Knowledge of construction processes including concrete forming, masonry basics, roofing prep work, siding installation, flooring installation (including tile), plumbing rough-ins, electrical experience as needed.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks regularly.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills for troubleshooting during fabrication or installation.
- Experience with restoration projects or handyman work is a plus.
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately for precise fabrication and installation.

Pay: $21.00-$35.00 per hour
