JOB OVERVIEW:
Freight Team Associates are responsible for inventory replenishment and organizing the sales floor to create a pleasant and safe shopping environment. This includes down stocking from over stock and new freight replenishment.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Verifying inventory – this includes examining and inspecting stock items for wear or defects, and reporting any damage to supervisors

Stocking merchandise onto shelves to achieve 100% in-stock position

Stocks merchandise onto shelves for customer availability; requires sorting and staging of merchandise to sales floor

Maintaining aisle cleanliness and shop-ability (minimize intrusion of freight while working)

Rotating items that could expire

Aisle facing and fronting the items

Communicating with other team members to ensure all products are stocked accurately on the shelves and in overstock areas

Moving freight safely from designated staging areas to overheads using the appropriate equipment as necessary
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Ability to work evenings and weekends

Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively

Lift equipment experience would be an asset (Forklift, pallet jack etc.)

Excellent decision-making ability and problem-solving skills

Detailed-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team

Self-motivated to drive completion of tasks as quickly and accurately as possible

Computer skills considered an asset but not required (training provided)

Detail orientated and strong attention to following safe work practices
Evening availability is required
