As a Manager Aviation & Speciality Products, you will manage sales and operations to the aviation sector, rail sector and light oils to large government and industrial consumers. You will also manage significant mandates to grow the jet, marine, arctic, mining and low carbon fuels businesses and optimize industrial sales contribution. You will also play a key role in the execution of the Valero growing biofuels strategies.
Manage all sales to domestic and international jet fuel customers.
Manage current portfolio of industrial sales.
Seek and pursue growth opportunities in all segments.
Maintain relationship with our supply group in order to:
Understand product supply issues /opportunities
Manage complex delivery logistics
Manage product quality issues if any arise
Negotiate and execute contracts with outside parties.
Finalize contracted sales agreement in collaboration with our Legal group.
Act as a liaison with the Jean-Gaulin refinery and the supply group to maintain availability of products supply.
Act as a support to the Director of Industrial & Specialty Sales and Wholesale Ontario & Atlantic.
Successful candidates will have
University degree in Marketing and/or Finance and/or Engineering. MBA degree would be an asset.
5 to 7 years of oil or sales related industrial experience.
Fully bilingual (written and oral) (French and English).
Strong analytical skills.
Capability of developing economic models to assess the economic impact of a contractual agreement.
Highly skilled in customer relationships and negotiating skills.
Knowledge of Eastern Canadian of petroleum products supply and demands would be an asset.
Understanding of products pricing & logistics, strategic vision and organizing abilities are strongly required for this job function.
