Duties
- Assist with the safe movement and positioning of boats within the yard using proper rigging techniques
- Support boat maintenance activities, including basic mechanical tasks and cleaning
- Help with the loading and unloading of vessels, ensuring secure handling at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard area to promote safety and efficiency
- Conduct visual inspections of boats for damages or maintenance needs and report findings promptly
- Operate yard equipment such as forklifts or cranes after proper training and certification
- Support team members during boat launches, recoveries, and storage operations with enthusiasm and attention to detail
Experience
- Prior experience with rigging or mechanical work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated learners
- Basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous for assisting with routine maintenance tasks
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently when handling boats and yard equipment
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move boats or equipment throughout shifts
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors

Pay: $17.60-$28.50 per hour
