Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the incumbent may perform some or all of the listed general functions below. These functions are of moderate complexity and the incumbent performs them using established instructions. Functions of the job involve working closely with the PI on a research project by collecting and entering data into established databases; editing of graphic, written, and video content produced as part of the research; working on GIS model development and GIS web application development; maintaining websites with regular updates of content; helping with maintenance and management of research
website and web portals. Under direct supervision and in support of the PI, project managing by working with other team members on many aspects but particularly the development of the ‘Urban Maps across 12 Canadian Provinces’ and 'Semantic Knowledge Graph' aspects of the Data Homebase web application.
