Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are upheld
- Clear trash and recycling bins regularly and dispose of waste appropriately
- Use commercial cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and steam cleaners safely and effectively
- Follow established cleaning protocols to ensure all areas meet health and safety regulations
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or requested
Experience
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment used in professional environments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
