Looking for Assistant Well Technician and/or mechanically minded individual to work in the water well industry, troubleshoot, repair, sell and install water pumps and water treatment for water wells. Responsible for all people, property and environmental risks and exposures on the job site.
Education and Experience Required:
Level of Education: High School Education
Experience: Well pump tech class 4 or plumber Assistant (will train)

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Understand principle of operations of pumps, wells and have ability to troubleshoot systems.
- Service and install residential and commercial pumping systems and water treatment equipment.
- Responsible for sizing pumps for different applications.
- Sell wells, pumps, and water treatment equipment as needed.
- Keep service truck stocked and maintained.
- Available to Take night calls for service on a regular basis and weekend calls once a month
- Fill out all paperwork properly, accurately, and in a timely fashion including job worksheets and timecards.
- Keep equipment and designated yard area neat and clean at all times.
- Be familiar with the safe and general operation of all equipment used on the job site, troubleshooting any mechanical problems in the field and ensure that the assistant can do the same.
- Help out in other areas as needed.
- Wear clean uniforms and be neat in appearance.
- Take part in training sessions, workshops, etc.
- Maintain good communication with customers, fellow employees and management.
- Follow all Company and Safety Rules, Procedures and Policies.
- Work with customers and fellow employees in a professional and courteous manner.
- Be responsible for keeping a balanced inventory while keeping waste to a minimum.
- Understand development of all types of wells.
- Understand use of electrical instruments including 1 and 3 phase electrical systems and components.
- Ability to keep co-workers, clients and equipment safe.
- Ability to weld, including but not limited to aluminum (training available).
Compensation based upon level of experience.

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
