As a member of the Human Resources team, the Human Resources Counsellor brings expertise by:
Reviewing and optimizing the compensation process in alignment with corporate objectives;
Advising the organization in its strategic positioning of total compensation;
Developing a national alignment strategy;
Managing the pay equity exercise;
Ongoing research on market trends and proposals for innovative solutions;
Training and support to managers on the various compensation components;
Managing several recruitment files in collaboration with managers (need identification, profile identification, interviews, etc.);
Participating in various HR projects and continuous improvement of practices and procedures;
Involvement in the performance appraisal process and various succession planning and internal development projects.
To perform well you must:
Possess Initiative, innovation and communication skills;
Be hard-working, passionate and challenge-driven;
Have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or Industrial Relations;
7 to 10 years of experience in a similar position;
Experience in compensation and pay equity;
Membership to the CRHA/CRIA professional order is and asset;
Experience in an unionized environment is an asset;
Bilingualism (French and English) is essential.
