The Courtyard by Marriott London, Ontario is now open following a comprehensive renovation, featuring refreshed guestrooms, modern public spaces, an updated restaurant, and enhanced meeting facilities.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the property through its next phase of growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all hotel operations with a focus on guest satisfaction, financial performance, and team development.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with Marriott brand standards and operational excellence.
- Build, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team culture.
- Collaborate closely with Marriott, ownership, and the Regional Director of Operations to achieve strategic objectives.
- Drive revenue growth through community engagement, sales initiatives, and exceptional guest experiences.
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to maximize profitability.
- Foster a positive workplace environment focused on accountability, service, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications (Essential – Not Optional)
- Previous experience with Marriott, IHG, or another major hotel brand is required.
- Minimum 3–10+ years of progressive hotel leadership experience, including prior General Manager or senior hotel management experience.
- Proven track record of delivering strong operational and financial results.
- Experience managing hotel renovations, repositioning projects, or major property improvements is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, financial management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
Compensation & Benefits
- $80,000 – $100,000 annual salary (depending on profile, qualifications, and experience)
