Let's Tok Speech Therapy offers mobile speech therapy services to families to help little ones express themselves with confidence! We offer in-person support in North York (and some surrounding areas) for children needing support at home, daycare, or private school. Online speech therapy services are also available to families across Ontario. We believe that children learn best through play, so our sessions are uniquely designed with each child's interests, goals, and sensory needs in mind.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) to join our team. Job Description:
As a CDA at Let’s Tok Speech Therapy, you will work closely with a Speech-Language Pathologist to support the delivery of speech and language services to toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children. Most of the children we serve are autistic with varying needs. Services will be provided in client homes, daycares, private schools, and virtually. This position is perfect for those looking for part-time hours.
Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of speech and language programs as directed by an SLP
- Follow through on SLP recommendations regarding programming, resources, accommodations, and modifications for clients with communication needs
- Collect client data to inform therapy progress toward established speech therapy goals
- Create and develop therapy materials and resources tailored to individual client needs
- Maintain accurate records of all treatment activities and sessions
- Collaborate effectively with other team members and professionals involved in the client's care
- Being respectful and sensitive to individuals of various cultural backgrounds
- Provide services during after-school hours and weekends as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a pediatric setting with various communication needs and diagnoses
- Experience working with autistic children
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with families, team members, and other professionals
- Access to reliable transportation with a valid Ontario driver’s license
- Member of CDAAC (required)
- Recent Vulnerable Sector Screening (required)
