Pastry Production Baker
HV Bakery & Pâtisserie is looking for an experienced and reliable Pastry Production Baker to join our team.
Schedule
- Shifts start at 6:00 a.m.
- Weekend availability is required.
Compensation
- $18–$21 per hour, depending on experience
- Plus tips
- Production performance bonus every three months; amount to be determined
Responsibilities
- Prepare cheesecakes, financiers and madeleines
- Produce travel cakes and other baked goods
- Prepare jams and spreads
- Make ganaches, pastry creams and other fillings
- Roll, shape and prepare croissants
- Follow recipes and maintain consistent quality
- Keep the production area clean, organized and food-safe
- Support the pastry team with daily production as required
Requirements
- Minimum one year of professional bakery or pastry experience
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, organized and attentive to detail
- Able to maintain quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
- Must be available to work weekends and begin shifts at 5:30-6:00 a.m.
- Valid Food handler certificate.
Every applicant must be eligible to work in Canada; we do not sponsor work permit.
Pay: $17.60-$21.00 per hour
