Job Summary
As a Host/Hostess, you will be the welcoming face of our restaurant, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for all guests. Your energetic and friendly demeanor will ensure guests feel valued from the moment they arrive. You will manage reservations, greet guests with enthusiasm, and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize the dining experience. Your role is vital in setting the tone for exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations throughout each shift.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly with a positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm, making them feel at home
- Manage reservation bookings and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Coordinate seating arrangements to maximize table utilization while accommodating guest preferences
- Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information and taking reservations as needed
- Assist guests with seating, answer questions about the menu, and address any special requests or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to ensure a welcoming environment
- Collaborate closely with servers, bartenders, and management to deliver seamless service experiences
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality roles preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Food service experience, including familiarity with restaurant operations and POS systems such as Micros POS, is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette are essential for engaging with guests effectively
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in fast-paced environments
- Experience in hotel or restaurant settings enhances understanding of hospitality standards
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 35.0 per week
