About the Role
We are seeking an HR Business Partner to support our Manufacturing Operations Facilities, reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner. You will guide leaders and employees through employee relations, investigations, leadership and employee development, and change management. Building key relationships with the Operations team, you’ll provide coaching, advice, and innovative HR solutions to achieve business objectives.

Scope of Role
- Act as the primary HR contact for assigned facilities, supporting Operations and Facility Managers, leaders, and employees.
- Provide employee relations support, conduct objective investigations into workplace claims, and advise on legislative compliance to reduce risk.
- Guide performance management, including coaching, development, disciplinary action, and terminations.
- Support OH&S, disability and leaves management, return-to-work, and workplace accommodation.
- Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and programs, and deliver related training.
- Support employee engagement, retention, and culture across the facilities.
- Track HR metrics and employee-lifecycle documentation, providing insights to inform decisions.
- Support broader HR initiatives as needed, including HR projects, total rewards, diversity and inclusion, and staying current on employment legislation.
Knowledge and Experience
- 3-5 years in a Human Resources role.
- Experience in the manufacturing sector is an asset.
- Understanding of Employment Standards and Human Rights legislation for multiple provinces.
- Strong computer skills, proficiency with HR databases, and Microsoft Office.
- Must pass a basic security clearance.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license for travel to facilities.

Education
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources (diploma/degree)
- CPHR designation or working towards it is an asset.

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
