Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and outbound sales.
- Research potential customers and identify key decision-makers.
- Prepare freight quotes and negotiate pricing.
- Coordinate with dispatch and operations to ensure shipments move smoothly.
- Provide proactive communication and exceptional customer service throughout the shipping process.
- Resolve customer inquiries and service issues promptly and professionally.
- Monitor customer accounts and identify opportunities to grow existing business.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales and revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in transportation, logistics, freight brokerage, or B2B sales is considered an asset.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a results-driven mindset.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience is an asset.
- French or Spanish language skills are considered an asset
