Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess strong communication and organization skills to effectively educate students in the French language.
Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging French language lessons to students, in the Montessori style of learning
- Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assess student progress, provide feedback and prepare written report cards throughout the year
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience
-Create learning materials to support a hands-on approach to learning
-Provide tutoring and additional support to students as needed
Skills:
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Proficiency in French language and grammar
- Knowledge of early second language learning principles
- Knowledge of the Montessori philosophy and/or willingness to learn
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Familiarity with special education practices for diverse learners
- Strong classroom management skills
- Proficient in proofreading written work in French
- Passion for educating and inspiring students in the French language
