On behalf of our IT client, Procom is searching for an Instructional Designer, AI Enablement for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Instructional Designer, AI Enablement - Job Description:
The Instructional Designer, AI Enablement will develop persona-based learning experiences to support the IT AI Enablement Program within a newly integrated IT organization. This role focuses on embedding AI and tooling fluency within team operations, aligning with the Applied Technologist Standard, and supporting a shift in IT operational models.
Instructional Designer, AI Enablement - Responsibilities:
- Design role-based learning paths for IT personas, embedding AI and Tooling Fluency Foundation
- Curate, adapt, and create learning content across various formats
- Design embedded learning content for existing team rhythms
- Develop a manager enablement track to reinforce AI and tooling fluency
- Create AI Champion onboarding content and reinforcement content packages
- Maintain content quality, cadence, and handover documentation
Instructional Designer, AI Enablement - Mandatory Skills:
- Experience in instructional design for corporate enablement or organizational change
- Experience designing to a competency framework
- Measurement design literacy
- Strong AI and tooling fluency
- Experience designing manager-facing enablement content
- Strong instructional design fundamentals
- Excellent written communication and visual design sensibility
Instructional Designer, AI Enablement – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with OCM frameworks (ADKAR, Prosci, or equivalent)
- Advanced certifications (CPLP, ATD, equivalent)
- Experience operating as a contractor inside a corporate program
- Proficiency with content creation tools
- Working familiarity with LMS platforms
