WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Servall Development is currently looking to add a Storyteller & Social Media Coordinator to our team. As a member of the marketing team, you will work closely with the business and sales teams, to educate and enable our clients and grow our prospect funnel through targeted messaging. You will also work closely with the business, designers and developers to communicate our culture and attract key talent. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to write and develop content for a variety of channels with a focus on digital. Our ideal candidate is an avid and passionate storyteller who values creative conversation internally and externally. You are an authentic team player with an appetite to learn. WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Own our blog channel and the storytelling voice of Servall Development and its sister companies
  • Share our clients’ experiences by working with them and our account managers to create testimonials and case studies for web, print and video
  • Work with designers and developers to create messaging for sales enablement materials such as white papers, fact sheets, compare sheets, brochures and product catalogues
  • Own our various social media channels to communicate our content, translate our personality and actively engage and contribute to our online client communities
  • Understand brand positioning, our value propositions and broad strategic goals and incorporate them into communications strategies
  • Adapt messaging to target each of our buyer personas in a variety of verticals
  • Develop and execute content marketing campaigns for a variety of media
  • Plan and deliver Servall messaging to customers through a client newsletter
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Focus on the buyer first and being customer centric in your messaging, methodology and approach
  • Work with our sales team to create call scripts in alignment to campaigns
  • Create and adapt messaging for our website, ensuring that content contains sufficient keywords for search engine optimization
  • Develop and execute public relations campaigns and tactics, including developing engagement strategies, writing traditional and digital news copy
  • Work with media requests in Canada and the US to ensure positive exposure
  • Copywriting and proofreading in a wide variety of styles, tones and formats.
  • Research and write a variety of eBooks on a diverse number of subject matter

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, PR or Journalism
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in marketing, communications. Relevant agency and/or industry experience preferred.
  • Understanding of the technology industry considered an asset
  • Familiarity with a marketing automation platform - HubSpot experience considered an asset
  • Proficient in all social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook etc
  • Experience working in a high demand, multi-tasking environment working with multiple teams and people

  • Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or Journalism: 2 years (Preferred)
