Reporting to the Site Supervisor the Site Labourer is responsible for assisting the Site Supervisor and Site Assistants with all site and building requirements.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Provide support to the Site Supervisor and Site Assistant through various hands on construction and site tasks
- Day to Day clean up of the site
- Compliance with company Health and Safety Training and reporting requirements
- Prepare sites and clean up rubble and debris in a timely manner to ensure a safe and well-maintained construction site
- May perform other related duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills
- Valid driver's licence and proof of clean driving record
- Physically fit and able to lift to 100lbs
- Able to receive, interpret and act on directions in a timely and efficient manner
- Ability to work both independently and under direct supervision in a busy environment
Working Conditions
- Wearing protective clothing, i.e. safety boots and hard hats
- Exterior work may be required in inclement weather
- Laborious physical activity and repetitive tasks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 44 per week
