Senior UI Architect– G10 Rates - Trading

The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:
Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals
Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role
Extensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applications
Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development
Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master’s degree preferred

Job Responsibilities / Role:
Architecting, Designing and developing the flagship “Trader Desktop” platform
Working directly with end users on requirements analysis and capture
Fixing complex performance and scalability issues
Liaising with the global business, support, and development teams
Third line support during core trading hours
Enhancing our automated testing efforts and optimizing our UAT process

Qualifications:
Required:
10+ years of experience in building responsive UI interfaces.
Experience building single page applications using HTML 5, Angular 4.0+, TypeScript, CSS3, SAAS, and third-party JavaScript framework libraries.
Object oriented programming experience
Architectural experience for enterprise-grade applications
Leader in modern software development practices such as Agile development, test-driven development, and continuous delivery as it pertains to enterprise UI applications.

Nice to Have:
Experience with C# (5+ years, versions .NET 4.0+) and WPF (5+ years version .NET 4.0+)
Experience with tools such as Visual Studio Code, npm, Fiddler, Selenium Web Driver etc.
Experience with consuming JSON/XML based data from REST services.
Experience with building cross-platform desktop applications using Web technologies such as Electron, Chromium, and Node.js etc.
Experience developing large financial software trading systems.
Knowledge of any Interest Rates or Futures financial products (e.g. Treasuries/Swaps).

Additional Information / Preferences:
Education:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or a related field.

Good team-work skills, and the ability to work in a distributed global team environment
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Self-motivated with the determination to achieve his/her goals
