KLP Trucking & Excavating is seeking hardworking and reliable Seasonal Labourers to join our team. We specialize in excavation, trucking, site preparation, and earthworks for residential, commercial, and agricultural projects. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy working outdoors, and are committed to safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist with excavation, grading, and site preparation.
- Perform general labour duties, including shoveling, raking, backfilling, and site cleanup.
- Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist equipment operators and truck drivers on job sites.
- Operate small equipment when qualified and required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence is required.
- Previous construction, excavation, or general labour experience is preferred.
- Experience operating equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, loaders, or other construction equipment is a strong asset.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Safety certifications (CSTS, WHMIS, First Aid, etc.) are considered an asset.
