We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper/cook to support our culinary team in providing excellent food service. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure smooth kitchen operations. Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients
- Support cooking activities under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
- Help with food handling and storage to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Serve food to customers or assist servers during meal service
- Follow all food safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures
- Ensure timely replenishment of supplies and ingredients as needed
- Support meal preparation for various events or daily service
Skills
- Experience or familiarity with serving and food service operations
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
- Understanding of food handling and safety standards in a restaurant setting
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work well as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward customer service
