The opportunity
Dawson City is one of the Yukon’s most distinctive places to live and work, with a strong sense of community and a completely different rhythm through the winter months.
As a Food & Beverage Server at the Eldorado Hotel, you’ll help create a warm, welcoming dining experience for locals, hotel guests, and visitors throughout the winter. This role is about attentive service, getting to know regulars, working well with the kitchen and bar team, and helping keep service smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.
What does your success look like?
- Food and beverage orders are taken accurately and delivered with good timing and care.
- Guests feel welcomed, looked after, and leave wanting to return.
- Dining and service areas stay clean, organized, and ready for guests.
- Payments, POS entries, and day-to-day service tasks are handled accurately.
- Hospitality, safety, and cleanliness standards are consistently maintained.
What you bring to the role
- Restaurant, bar, or hospitality experience is an asset.
- Friendly, approachable service and a genuine interest in looking after guests.
- Clear communication and the ability to get orders right the first time.
- Reliability, good pace, and the ability to stay composed during busy periods.
- Comfort using a POS system and handling payments accurately.
- A team-first attitude and willingness to pitch in where needed.

Requirements: Ability to frequently lift up to 20 lbs and perform tasks that require standing, bending, reaching, and carrying throughout the shift.
Employment conditions: Serving it Right certification (or willingness to obtain).
