TABER CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL
Taber Christian High School is a grade 9-12 school. Our 17 staff members provide service to approximately 130 students in the town of Taber, Alberta. Our mission is “to provide a Christian educational environment which uses biblical teaching to prepare all students to reach their full potential, so they can serve God and others with a Christ-like attitude”.
Regular Food Service Worker- approx. 8 hours/week
Hours of work include- Tuesday and Thursday 8:27 a.m.- 1:35 p.m.
Taber Christian High School is looking for a Food Service Worker to run our hot lunch program. The ideal candidate will have a recognized Food Safety course in Alberta or willing to acquire one.
Duties in this role are preparing and supporting the lunch program and supporting snack preparation through our nutrition program.

An Educational Assistant in Horizon School Division:-
Encourages students to develop and maintain positive interaction.

Maintains confidentiality and a patient, supportive and enthusiastic commitment to students.

As required, provides personal care including toileting, diapering, feeding, dressing, grooming, etc. ensuring that student dignity is maintained. Attends to physical needs including lifting, positioning, and range of motion programs as identified by appropriate personnel.

Ensures the safety of students in the school and community, which includes maintaining close supervision of students, ensuring student equipment is sanitized and put away, retrieving students who attempt to leave their learning environment, calming and/or restraining students engaged in challenging behaviours; supervising and assisting students who utilize a variety of life skill tools (i.e., scissors, cooking utensils, etc.).

Maintains collegial relationships with the students' learning team.
