We are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to oversee the day-to-day accounting, payroll, and financial administration functions. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, managing accounts receivable and payable, and supporting the overall financial operations.

Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including collections
- Process payroll, employee benefits, ROEs, commissions, and T4s
- Prepare monthly financial statements, bank reconciliations, and GST/HST filings
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Prepare year-end working papers for external accountants
- Monitor project costing, inventory, and cash flow
- Coordinate insurance renewals, WSIB administration, and corporate records
- Maintain organized financial and administrative records
- Support office technology, including Microsoft 365 and QuickBooks administration
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiencies
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Experience processing payroll and preparing financial statements
- Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting principles and GST/HST reporting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality

Pay: $75,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
