Heavy Wrecker Tow Truck Driver (AZ Licensed)

Johnny's Transportation Services is seeking a full-time AZ-licensed driver to operate a Heavy Wrecker and join our dynamic and growing team in the Greater Sudbury area. Qualifications:
Required:
- A valid AZ Driver’s License.
- Minimum 3 years of AZ driving experience.
- Clean driver’s abstract and CVOR abstract.
- Experience in heavy towing and recovery
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
Preferred (Assets):
- A Criminal Record & Judicial Matters Check meeting the requirements of the Towing and Storage Safety and Enforcement Act, 2021.
- Certifications such as WreckMaster or 310T Truck & Coach Certificate.
- Experience operating:
- Cranes
- Boom trucks
- Mobile equipment
- Material handling equipment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide roadside assistance, towing, and recovery services for heavy-duty vehicles.
- Operate in compliance with HTA laws and Canadian Hours of Service regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate driver logs and adhere to company policies.
- Communicate effectively with customers and dispatchers.
- Navigate unfamiliar routes using maps or GPS.
- Safely load, secure, and deliver parts and equipment locally and occasionally out of town.
Additional Requirements:
- Physically capable of handling strenuous activities (lifting, shoveling, bending, standing).
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (extreme heat or cold).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Availability for on-call rotations and including weekend rotation (every 8 weeks)
- Professional, motivated, and safety-focused attitude.
- Willingness to spend occasional nights out of town (accommodation provided).
