Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare a variety of baked goods including bread, pastries, and specialty items with precision and care
- Decorate cakes and desserts creatively to meet customer specifications and enhance visual appeal
- Handle food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and assembling products efficiently
- Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards throughout all stages of food handling and baking processes
- Package baked goods carefully for display or take-out orders, ensuring freshness and presentation quality
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen area, equipment, and workstations to ensure a safe environment
- Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about products and offering recommendations when needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in baking, cake decorating, or food preparation within a bakery or restaurant setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Strong skills in kitchen tasks such as cooking, baking, and food industry best practices
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and good communication abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with packaging baked goods for retail or wholesale purposes is a plus
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
