We are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor in our Housekeeping Department at the DoubleTree by Hilton West Edmonton – Where exceptional guest experience begins with leadership and care.

What You’ll Do
· Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the housekeeping, laundry, and janitorial teams.
· Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
· Lead by example, training, coaching, and developing team members to deliver superior guest service.
· Handle guest requests, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
· Manage housekeeping inventories, including cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment.
· Support the recruitment, onboarding, and training of housekeeping staff.
· Prepare and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage, including weekends and holidays.
· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies, including WHMIS requirements.
· Actively contribute to hotel health and safety programs and maintain a safe workplace.
· Assume the duties of the Housekeeping Manager in their absence.
· Support additional projects and departmental initiatives as assigned.
· Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by leadership.
Working Conditions
· Flexibility to work evenings (up to 5pm), weekends, and holidays as required.
· Ability to move, lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
· Regular standing, walking, bending, twisting, and reaching overhead and below the knees.
· Combination of office and guest-facing duties with extended periods of standing or sitting.

· Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
· Previous supervisory and/or training experience (minimum 1 year required).
· Experience with Property Management Systems and Microsoft Office.
· High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education an asset).
