Position Summary
TRG is hiring a Forklift Operator (Reach and Dock stocker of Crown) for our client based in Brampton, ON. This position involves driving a powered industrial truck equipped with a forklift, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in warehouse or factory.
Location: Brampton
Shift: Day 6:30am to 2:30 pm
Afternoon 12:00pm to 8:00pm
Schedule: Mon to Fri
Pay rate: $21.70/hr
Key Duties and Responsibilities
*
Loads and unloads skids/pallets on/off trailers and transports to various areas within the plant.
*
Places and removes skids from assigned bunks in safe manner.
*
Ensures counts are accurate on materials being received and shipped.
*
Wraps and straps completed skids from production line.
*
May be required to work on the production assembly line.
*
Exercises care for the safety of personnel, property and materials at all times.
*
Enters data into company systems as directed.
*
Completes daily maintenance check on the equipment and reports issues/problems to Manager.
*
Cleans up work area at the end of the shift as directed.
*
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
*
Minimum of 2 years driving experience
*
Valid Forklift Licence for REACH AND DOCK STOCKER ( Crown)
Education & Experience Requirements
*
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
*
High School Diploma or equivalent.
*
Computer literate in word and excel applications.
*
Knowledge of warehouse software applications.
*
Knowledge of Shipping and receiving documentation.
*
Knowledge of inventory would be an asset.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
*
Primarily works in a factory and/or warehouse setting
