Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated Full-Time and Part-Time Mobile Patrol Guards to ensure the safety and security of properties in Peace River. This role involves patrolling designated areas, monitoring surveillance systems, and preventing loss or damage. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and a background or interest in law enforcement or security operations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on maintaining safety and order within the community.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned properties using mobile patrol vehicles or on foot to deter unauthorized activities.
- Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to identify suspicious behavior or security breaches.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing appropriate action and reporting as necessary.
- Perform loss prevention activities by observing and identifying potential theft or vandalism.
- Maintain detailed logs of patrol activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
- Engage with property owners, tenants, or staff to address security concerns professionally and courteously.
- Follow established security protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
Requirements
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, surveillance, or loss prevention is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to detect suspicious activity quickly.
- Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license is required for mobile patrol duties.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
- Physical fitness to perform patrols on foot or via vehicle over extended periods.
- Valid Alberta Security License

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
