Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our automotive repair team. The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle collision repair, a strong understanding of automotive systems, and the ability to restore vehicles to their original condition. Duties
- Repair and replace damaged vehicle panels, frames, and body parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Assess vehicle damage to determine necessary repairs and estimate time required for completion
- Perform sanding, grinding, welding, and painting to ensure seamless repairs
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve complex body repair issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair progress
- Follow all safety protocols and industry standards during repair processes
Qualifications
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and body structures
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques
- Experience with automotive repair, collision damage assessment, and restoration techniques
- Mechanic experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
