Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high-quality food service, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure food safety and proper handling of ingredients at all times
- Serve dishes efficiently and accurately to customers or servers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Follow food industry regulations and safety guidelines to uphold hygiene standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
Experience
- Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred
- Restaurant or kitchen experience in the food industry is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with meal preparation and serving in a fast-paced environment is a plus
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and culinary skills is beneficial
