Social Media Marketing Intern, Harvey’s

For over 60 years, Harvey’s has been serving great tasting, flame-grilled burgers to Canadians. We are on a journey looking for great people to be part of this iconic 100% Canadian brand that has homegrown roots across the country.
We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Intern to join our team with fresh creative ideas to attract more guests and increase brand awareness. You’ll be a key part of the digital marketing division by developing distinctive content, engaging the Harvey’s audience, and supporting paid media campaigns when needed.
You’ll be the go-to person to get people excited and talking about Harvey’s to ultimately increase our engagement metrics that align with our broader brand marketing goals.
Some of the exciting things you will lead and do:
Manage Harvey’s social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, and Snapchat)
Proactive and reactive community management across social platforms. Includes social listening, trend analysis, and copywriting
Create and implement a social media content calendar that aligns with a broader brand marketing calendar/social strategy
Ideate and deliver UGC-style content that resonates with our target audience for Tik tok and Reels and assist in photography/videography
Who you are:
You’re curious about continued learning in the marketing realm and sharing insights related to social media marketing
You’re collaborative and have the ability to work with the marketing team and stakeholders to deliver creative social/digital content
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to embody and carry Harvey’s tone of voice online
Bonus points for experience within a design or marketing-related role
