This is not an entry-level Project Manager position. We are looking for someone who can immediately become a key member of our leadership team and successfully manage multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

What you'll be doing
- Lead multiple Commercial, Institutional and Design-Build projects simultaneously.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, consultants, architects, engineers and subtrades.
- Lead Design-Build, Construction Management, negotiated and stipulated sum pursuits.
- Prepare conceptual budgets, design-stage estimates, tender submissions and value engineering recommendations.
- Assemble estimates by coordinating and directing Estimators and Project Coordinators while taking overall responsibility for pricing strategy and final submissions.
- Lead project teams throughout construction, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to Stanley's high standards of quality.
- Mentor and support junior Project Managers, Project Coordinators and Estimators.
- Identify project risks early and develop practical solutions before they become problems.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships while identifying opportunities for repeat and negotiated work.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who brings most of the following:
- Significant Project Management experience within Commercial and Institutional Construction.
- Experience delivering projects such as schools, healthcare facilities, municipal/provincial/federal facilities, recreation facilities, multi-family housing, tenant improvements, civil projects, envelope upgrades or structural rehabilitation.
- Strong Design-Build and conceptual estimating experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead Design-Build and negotiated projects from concept through construction, including developing budgets and estimates from incomplete design information.
- Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional client service.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and MS Project. Experience with Procore and Sage is considered an asset.
- Formal education in Construction Engineering Technology, Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline is considered an asset. Professional designations such as P.Eng., GSC or PMP are also considered assets but are not required.
