Barista / Cashier (MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE)

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Barista/Cashier to join our busy coffee shop team. The ideal candidate has hands‑on barista experience, knows how to prepare espresso-based drinks, and can provide fast, friendly customer service. Only apply if you have previous barista or coffee shop experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso drinks, coffees, teas, and specialty beverages
- Operate commercial coffee machines, grinders, and POS systems
- Greet customers and provide excellent service
- Handle cash, debit/credit transactions, and returns
- Maintain a clean, organized barista station and front counter
- Restock cups, syrups, milk, and supplies
- Upsell featured drinks and bakery items
- Assist with product inquiries and recommendations
- Work efficiently during rush periods
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
Required Experience & Skills
- MUST HAVE barista experience (coffee shop, café, or fast‑food coffee station)
- Ability to make espresso shots, lattes, cappuccinos, iced drinks, etc.
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- POS and cash‑handling experience
- Fast, accurate, and reliable in a busy environment
- Good multitasking and time‑management skills
- Organized and detail‑oriented
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
- Bilingual skills are an asset
