Upland Contracting Ltd. is a civil construction contractor located in Campbell River situated on Vancouver Island. We are involved in construction of residential and commercial developments, civil road works, mining and aggregate sales. Our growing team is in search of a field surveyor.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule works on hand with Chief Surveyor.
- Maintain survey gear and perform calibrations when needed.
- Perform layout surveys to facilitate ongoing projects.
- Perform asbuilt and topographic surveys
- Utilize various survey equipment including total station, GNSS and construction grade lasers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the construction industry in a similar role or two years of post secondary education in a related field.
- Experience with Topcon survey equipment preferred.
- Valid BC driver license
-Candidate must be willing to relocate to Campbell River
