Torcan Lift Equipment is seeking to hire a full-time, permanent shipper/receiver at our Cambridge branch. Our team is looking for a driven, independent, and knowledgeable individual who is ready to grow and excel in their career!
As a key member of Torcan, the Shipper/Receiver is responsible for inventory checks and shop organization duties. This could include equipment staging, loading and unloading of equipment.
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· 1-2 years shipping and receiving experience.
· Able to safely load and unload equipment, includes regular lifting of up to 50lbs.
· Aerial lift equipment and telehandler knowledge is required.
· Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
· Excellent customer service skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Daily administration tasks including the completion of any necessary paperwork and procedures related to receiving of equipment.
· Fuelling equipment.
· Move aerial equipment as required.
· Manage computer transfers for incoming and outgoing inventory.
· Additional duties as assigned.
· Follow all company and customer safety standards.
· Receive and ship equipment to/from vendor or customer.
· Assess equipment for damages.
