We are looking for an active, motivated individual to be able to work independently to operate and manage our print shop located at SFU Burnaby.
You must have skills to work with Adobe creative software (Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign) to help our customers with their design requirement and set up files for printing. Some finishing services such as cutting, binding, lamination, ... will be part of this position. You need to have excellent customer service and able to handle customers' orders (by phone, email, in person) to take care of their jobs from start to finish. Some other roles you have are handling our cash register, helping walk-in customers (photocopy/print, scan, taking photos, orders, ...), invoices and their payment.
At your free times, you need to work on our social media (Instagram, Facebook, Yelp, ...) by creating ads/reels/videos and get more followers and promote our business online.
P.S.:
- Please don't apply if you don't have any experience working in a print shop. Management skills specially in print industry a big plus.
- This is not a customer service or graphic design position only. Please do not apply if you don't have Adobe knowledge qualification and skills needed for a print shop.
- Training related to our working environment and supervision will be provided at the beginning.
- Depending skills and experience, working hours, wage and commision can be discussed further upon interview. It can grow by time depending on the performance/efficiency of the person for business.
