The Maintenance Manager’s mission is to bring autonomy and organizational efficiency to maintenance. He/she plans, organizes, steers and monitors all activities related to equipment maintenance, staff management, energy services, buildings and land. Controls and allocates financial, human and technical resources based on needs and assists in maintaining compliance with food quality, safety and defence requirements.

Specifically, the position’s main duties are:
Monitor maintenance performance and best practices
Initiate/develop/supervise and improve the plant’s maintenance program and track key performance indicators (expenses, labour, preventive and remedial work orders, worksite inspections, energy consumption, etc.)
Track and control budgets and management of his/her team’s plant equipment maintenance activities, prepare and track maintenance budgets and expenses (labour and equipment repairs/parts), promote budgetary performance
Manage and approve procurement activities, control inventory replacements and budget management
Manage a xx-person team, oversee their professional development, manage labour relations

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, automated production or a related field
10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the food industry, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or management position
Knowledge of TPM processes
