Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Line Cook/Dishwasher to join our bustling restaurant team. Duties
- Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items, assisting with food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and portioning ingredients
- Cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards, ensuring timely delivery of dishes
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware efficiently as a dishwasher
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure hygiene and prevent contamination
- Assist in organizing kitchen supplies and stock levels to support smooth kitchen operations
- Support other kitchen staff during busy periods by performing additional tasks as needed
- Ensure all work areas are sanitized and organized at the end of each shift
Experience
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is highly valued
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices and basic cooking techniques is advantageous
- Experience with meal preparation and food industry standards will help in adapting quickly to the role
- Previous roles involving serving or food safety protocols are considered a plus
