Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Dental Hygienist ( 2-3 days per week) to join our friendly dental practice located in Barrhaven. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional passionate about patient care and oral health. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced dental environment. This position is perfect for someone looking to contribute to a supportive team while providing exceptional dental care.
Duties
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans
- Assist in patient examinations by recording medical histories
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following infection control protocols
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and high quality care
- Use Abeldent Software for charting and documentation
Requirements
- Valid Dental Hygienist license
