Shoppers Drug Mart Specialty Health Network supports our retail stores to provide the best patient care to patients who require specialty drugs. We provide patient support programs for specialty drug therapies, providing physicians with resources to manage their patients, facilitating reimbursement, and enhancing patient compliance. We deliver superior customer service to patients, healthcare providers and pharmaceutical manufacturers to improve healthcare outcomes for all stakeholders.
We are hiring a Manager, Retail Specialty Support.
What You'll Do:
Manage a team of direct reports to ensure the support the all aspects of specialty programs within retail pharmacies
Ensure the support and direction of the team is in-line with all provincial regulations
Collaborate with colleagues from various teams to identify and implement opportunities to enhance the specialty patient experience within retail pharmacies
Manage resolution of issues related daily operations of pharmacy-facing specialty programs to ensure programs are delivered with operational excellence and optimized program value
Effectively communicate and build rapport with colleagues, stakeholders and business partners in an open office environment
Leverage data and other tools to effectively communicate recommendations to stakeholders, support reporting and identify new team opportunities/efficiencies
Work with various business units to document needs for future upgrades, training issues and refresher sessions
Ensure the team carries out duties and responsibilities in accordance with internal policies and procedures, as well as maintaining timelines based on contractual obligations
Report all Adverse Events (AE) and Product Technical Complaints (PTC) immediately or as soon as possible upon becoming aware of the event as per current policies and procedures
Keen on managing a high-performing team and support the development of all team members
What You'll Need:
Bilingual – proficient in English and French is a requirement
University Degree in Business or Science (or relevant experience)
Minimum (3) years of experience in the pharmaceutical marketplace – experience in specialty products and a call centre is an asset
Experience working in a retail pharmacy environment is an asset
Strong methodological, quantitative and analytical skills combined with the ability to make sound recommendations and decisions
Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability in leading and contributing to cross-functional teams; excellent skills in leading without authority and managing through influence
Diplomatic, professional communicator, able to maintain patient confidentiality, as per SDM Specialty Health Network policies and legal requirements
Must be able manage time effectively through flexibility & prioritization
Strong computer skills in a Windows environment using MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
A team player with the desire to provide superior customer care
Able to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
