About the Role
You’ll provide personalized nutrition assessments and counselling to patients preparing for surgery, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to optimize each patient’s readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive nutrition assessments
- Develop individualized nutrition care plans
- Provide virtual and in-home consultations
- Optimize nutritional status before surgery
- Support oncology and complex surgical patients
- Monitor patient progress
- Collaborate with Preluma clinicians
- Maintain clinical documentation
Required Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
- Professional liability insurance
- Driver’s licence (for home visits) or willingness to provide virtual care
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE)
- Canadian-trained
- Hospital and outpatient experience
- Oncology nutrition
- Perioperative nutrition
- Behavioural counselling
- Motivational Interviewing
- Familiarity with malnutrition screening tools
Pay: $17.60-$100.00 per hour
