Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas and shawarma according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food is cooked to the highest standards of quality and safety
- Maintain proper food handling procedures in compliance with food safety regulations
- Serve dishes promptly and accurately to customers or servers
- Assist in food presentation and garnishing to enhance visual appeal
- Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and organized throughout the shift
- Follow all health and safety guidelines during food preparation and service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
- Ability to prepare meals efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Familiarity with the food industry’s best practices for meal preparation and presentation
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Experience with pizza making techniques and shawarma preparation is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
