What we're looking for
The Personalization team is a dedicated and passionate group of individuals working to empower our users to manage, create, and analyze their surveys. Through the use of machine learning and data we strive to provide guidance, customized experiences, and moments of delight throughout the product journey. In addition, the team is focused on providing an easy and intuitive survey management dashboard so that our users can quickly and effectively develop and deploy their surveys. We're looking for an engineer who is driven to cultivate a collaborative and inviting environment while also being hyper-focused on engineering excellence and the user experience. What you'll be working on
- Architect, develop, and have end-to-end ownership of new features including creating technical specifications and frontend experiences
- Promote and foster an engineering culture of growth and quality through code excellence and following industry best practices
- Partner closely with product experts, designers, and stakeholders to help devise robust, scaleable front and backend experiences
- Investigate and address issues with performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Work in an Agile environment with built-in feedback cycles
We'd love to hear from people with
- 8-11+ years of development experience with deep expertise in React, GraphQL, TypeScript and backend skills such as Python, API design, and AWS
- A strong commitment to and knowledge of web standards, accessibility, and device agnostic design
- Experience writing unit and integration tests
- Knowledge of analytics and other business intelligence metrics, authorization strategies, and web security
SurveyMonkey believes in-person collaboration is valuable for building relationships, fostering community, and enhancing our speed and execution in problem-solving and decision-making. As such, you will be required to work from a SurveyMonkey office up to 1 day per week.
