CASCADES TISSUE GROUP
The Tissue Group, a division of Cascades, is the second-largest tissue producer in Canada and the fifth-largest in North America. The Division manufactures, converts and markets a huge selection of paper products, such as hand towels, bathroom tissue, facial tissue, napkins, paper towels, wipers and dispensers for the North American away-from-home and consumer products markets. The Group has more than 2,200 employees and operates seven manufacturing plants, nine conversion plants and four plants with both manufacturing and conversion facilities.
Cascades Tissue Group is looking to add a member to its distribution specialist team in order to ensure optimal use of our various management systems and to standardize our business processes that affect the distribution, storage of our products and service to our customers.
The Distribution specialist will have the following main responsibilities:
Be responsible for standardizing and implementing best practices in distribution and warehousing;
Establish and monitor KPI's to measure success;
Ensure follow-ups to improve and maintain efficiency;
Act as a liaison between different departments such as customer service, shipping, receiving, the supply chain team and the COE Logistics team;
Prepares supply chain reports and makes recommendations;
Support the supply chain team in their analyses.
The distribution specialist must have the following qualifications:
Training in operations management or other relevant areas;
Have 5 years experience in SAP in the following modules: Shipping, Warehouse Management, Warehousing. (LE-WM);
Have experience in SAP in the following modules: OTC, PTP would be an asset;
Good knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point;
Experience with a TMS system and an RF environment.
Experience in managing a distribution centre or managing shipping/receiving teams
Demonstrate leadership and have good change management skills;
Be fluently bilingual;
Be available to travel approximately 40-60% depending on projects.
