Cleaner – Home, Cottage & Vacation Rental Services
MK Coastal Home & Cottage Care is growing, and we’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team.
We provide high-quality cleaning and property care services for residential homes, cottages, vacation rentals/Airbnbs, campers, and seasonal properties. We take pride in the little details and want someone who shares our commitment to leaving every property fresh, welcoming, and beautifully prepared.
What You’ll Do
- Perform residential maintenance and deep cleans
- Complete cottage and Airbnb/vacation rental turnovers Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas Vacuum, sweep and mop floors Dust and sanitize surfaces
- Make beds and prepare guest-ready spaces
- Complete finishing touches and final property checks.
- Assist with seasonal cottage openings and closings.
- Follow cleaning checklists and MK Coastal quality standards. Properly use and care for cleaning products, supplies and equipment
- Report damages, maintenance concerns or missing items when noticed
What We’re Looking For
- We’re looking for someone who is: Dependable and punctual Hard-working with a strong work ethic
- Detail-oriented and takes pride in their work
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Trustworthy and respectful when working in clients’ homes and properties
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, particularly during vacation rental turnovers
- Able to follow instructions and established cleaning procedures
- Available for some weekend work, particularly during the busy cottage and Airbnb season
- Previous professional cleaning experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s licence
- Ability to travel to client properties
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of cleaning, including bending, reaching, lifting and being on your feet for extended periods
- Criminal record check required Reliable availability and good communication
